W. Carter and Son offer a bespoke service enabling you to create an item of jewellery to celebrate a memorable occasion in your life or simply to remind you of a loved one that has passed.
Whatever the reason for designing an item of jewellery our highly qualified staff will be pleased to guide you through the design process from the sketching stage to the CAD drawings, culminating in the manufacture of the finished piece. From supplying a selection of loose Gemstones for you to choose from, to designing the mount and shank, that unique item of jewellery can be created to your specification, something that you will treasure forever.
Our Goldsmith’s are happy to remodel existing items of jewellery or to repurpose old gold and other precious material, including gemstones. Remodelling of these items help to retain precious memories.
In 2017 W. Carter and Son had been approached by the Defence Medical Welfare Service (DMWS) to design and create a brooch for the organisation’s patron, Her Royal Highness the Countess of Wessex. We were honoured to be invited to a reception at the House of Lords to personally present the brooch to Her Royal Highness.
