Jewellery Repairs
W. Carter and Son have been carrying out repairs to Jewellery, Silverware, Clock and Watches for over 205 years to a very high standard.
We undertake a full range of jewellery repairs and re-modelling to both antique and modern pieces. From a simple break to a chain to a complete restoration of a 19th century diamond tiara, however large or small the job, attention to detail is paramount. The greatest of care is taken with every piece entrusted to us and is fully insured whilst in our possession.
W. Carter and Son have always utilised the knowledge and knowhow of highly skilled goldsmiths and continue to do so, 205 years later. Our Goldsmith’s are trained to the highest of standards and have a wealth of experience.
Our Silversmith’s have been carrying out our repairs for over 60 years. We undertake repairs of most silverware. W. Carter and Son are proud to carry out silver repairs for Her Majesty’s Armed Forces and the Salisbury City Council. We also carry out repairs to Ecclesiastical silver. The last couple of years has seen W. Carter and Son undertake the full restoration of the chains of office for The Right Worshipful Mayor and Deputy Mayor of The City of Salisbury.
